Trophy for the sixth mass extinction event: Arctic Fox
2025, Glazed ceramic, 11x9x6 inches
The Earth has experienced five previous mass extinction events, the last one occurring 65.5 million years ago which wiped out the dinosaurs from existence. Due to human activity, we’re in the midst of a sixth mass extinction, driven by climate change and the unsustainable use of land, water and energy. As our world’s most powerful leaders act more proud of this mass extinction than appalled, I’ve made trophies to really congratulate them on a job done about as poorly as one can do.
